ECF Group expands into India

ECF Group continues its international expansion and enters the franchise market on the Indian subcontinent. This strategic initiative will allow the development of the Restofair brand in partnership with Eff’n’Bee, a leading distributor in India serving hospitality and foodservice operators.
The joint project immediately leverages Eff’n’Bee’s strong local presence, with 6 showrooms across India, while benefiting from the regional reach and the strength of Restofair’s supply chain in the Middle East, Africa, and now India.
The first showroom, located in Bangalore, will operate under the Restofair brand as of October 2025. The five other showrooms (New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kochi) will follow in the coming months. In addition, 2 further openings will reinforce the franchise’s local presence, which aims to become the reference player in India for providing equipment to hospitality and foodservice professionals.
The Indian market offers considerable growth potential for this sector and is set to become one of the world’s leading markets in the coming decades. This trend is particularly illustrated by the rapid expansion of both local and international hotel chains.
Through this major initiative, ECF Group consolidates Restofair’s as a leading brand in the hospitality sector within the Middle East – Africa – India (MEAI) regposition ion. Restofair International’s presence in the area dates back to 2004 with the opening of the first Restofair-Rak store in Dubai, followed by Morocco the same year. The brand has since expanded into other territories, mainly through franchise agreements: Oman, Maldives, Seychelles, and Kuwait. More recently, entry into Saudi Arabia with a first store in Riyadh at the end of 2023 further strengthened Restofair’s international recognition.
As in other franchised geographies, Restofair India results from a collaboration between a well-established and recognized local company and ECF Group, which brings its portfolio of international brands, its own brands, and the strength and efficiency of its logistics. The Restofair franchise network is managed from the ECF Middle East subsidiary, based in Dubai and led by Yann Dhalluin.
For its entry into India, ECF has partnered with Eff’n’Bee. Founded in 2011 in Bangalore by the Singhvi family, entrepreneurs also active in printing, precision industry, and distribution, the company has grown significantly. With its exclusive partnership with RAK Porcelain and a strong presence in the country’s main hospitality development areas (6 showrooms + 2 under construction), Eff’n’Bee has established itself as a leading distributor in India in a highly fragmented market. ECF Group welcomes this collaboration with the Singhvi family and the high-quality partnership already established.
The development of Restofair in the Middle East, Africa, and India region is part of ECF Group’s profound transformation, supported since 2023 by its majority shareholder, PAI Partners, a leading European investment fund.
Christophe ALAUX, President and CEO of ECF Group :
“India is a natural frontier for ECF Group, with immense growth potential and ambitious development plans from major hotel groups who are our clients worldwide. These will complement the historical clients of our Indian partner Eff’n’Bee.”
