CHS inaugurates a new logistics platform in Italy

CHS, a company of the ECF Group, announces the opening of a new warehouse in Soncino, Lombardy, in northern Italy. This new facility marks a key milestone in CHS’s development in the Italian market and strengthens the Group’s logistics capabilities on a European scale.

Located near Milan, this strategic site consolidates five previously separate warehouses across Italy.
By centralizing its logistics operations, CHS aims to improve stock management, optimize distribution flows, and enhance service quality for professional clients in the hospitality, catering, and healthcare sectors.

Spanning a significant surface area, the building was designed with a focus on operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. It is equipped with photovoltaic panels capable of producing up to 500 kWh, covering a large portion of the site’s energy needs. Additional systems have also been implemented to support more sustainable resource management, particularly in terms of water and electricity consumption.

CHS also aims to obtain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for this facility — a globally recognized standard for sustainable construction.
This initiative aligns with ECF Group’s CSR policy, which places energy transition and environmental efficiency at the core of its growth strategy.
